I love the challenge of your idea but I also know the obstacles of the trail, so if you want my opinion, make first a solid breeding plan with as many in front calculated genes as possible (not only the single inheritance of them but also their cumulation, influences, acting, interacting or not-acting), secondly the linkages and crossing-over in the F1, F2 ... .
You will need several lines and much space so better find fellow-breeders who want to share in this project but also advisers along the theoretical pathway, I am sure this forum contain some well educated members in this matter.
