The "color-name" (for now) is DUSKY !
Serama contain several unknown melanizers and crosses with this race produce the most peculiar phenotypes.
What is known is the lighter version contains the gene DUN (spento) in het. the darker version contain those unknown Serama melanizers.
The single lacing of a used rooster gave the "cocoapop" pattern in choc and/or dun in some of the offspring.
The segregation between the Pattern-gene and the melanizer does not support that it is Melanotic butthe serama-melanizer(s) does support some form of double lacing.
