Ciao,
Is exact what Rachele say. Under the black can be hidden different other colours. But also under the rezessive white are hidden other colours.
Normaly these hidden colours not come to the surface when you breed blackXblack and whiteXwhite because:
-than the chances that the different alleles of the other present colours come together as a PAIR are much more little (but it is possible with black, not with white);
-the colour black need only ONE allele to let see in phenotype a black chick (because black (E) is a dominant colour);
-the colour white need TWO alleles to let see in phenotype a white chick (because white (c) is a rezessive colour).
Maybe Rachele or Tunde can translate to Italiano?
Ciao Danny.
