Everything is calculation. there are 18 color genes, each have TWO allels.
When the 2 allels of a gene are identical, is called homozygote, than that gene is pure. ex. E/E
When the 2 allels of a gene are different, is called heterozygote, than that gene is unpure. ex. E/e+
In this way it is perfect calculatable what will be the outcome.
But whatever is the genecombination they stay Moroseta (better or worse to the Standard) [Modificato da Danny_57 29/11/2009 20:19] |

No.

Clodiloa, you intend the cock and the hen on the first photo? The two white Moroseta?
Well than it is simple, when you breed these two together you become all white Moroseta. This because (normaly) the white color in the Moroseta is the recessive white gene c/c. This recessive white put itself over all other colors.
The cock must have c/c and the hen also c/c, otherwise they never where white, so all chicks will have c/c. Simple as that. [Modificato da Danny_57 29/11/2009 20:37] |
