Che la genetica non obbedisca alla regola dell’1+1=2
Sta di fatto che a mio avviso Bl è un gene dal comportamento strano, potendo annoverare tra i suoi antagonisti molti geni che per ora non conosciamo.
Introducendo in un soggetto blu anche il grigio perla, si attenuano le macchie nerastre disseminate sul mantello e si ottiene un grigio molto pallido che potrebbe far pensare a un lavanda se la tonalità fosse più pallida !

scusate la mia ignoranza, ma questa gallina non è una splash?
ok è un pochino più scura,
ma come sappiamo, quando c'è di mezzo un esemplare blu, gli splash che escono vengono più scuri,
io avevo una femmina splash troppo chiara e per riportare il colore in standar ho inserito un gallo blu, risultato: 90 x cento di esemplari in standard e 10 x cento di esemplari splash come quella tua in foto, cioè più scuri, |

I found some more information about these Moroseta gray with spots :

"In the US the gray Silkies that I have seen have the Andalusian blue and not lavendar. They do not breed true for the gray color, but produce blacks and splashes. Lavendar is usually a very pale gray. Andalusian blue has a wide range of shades and can be nearly black.
I've seen the black flecks in the blue, but I don't know what causes it. I do not see it in the blue mongrels that I am raising at the moment, but these birds do not have the darker lacing. I have Pg segregating, but I don't have Melanotic in my blue birds. I could cross it in and see what I get, but that isn't in my breeding plans. The blue birds that I have are a pretty even shade of blue. They have a slightly darker fringe to their feathers, but I think that this is just due to feather structure instead of the normal laced pattern".
