Ah, I thought, crest means comb, not the "hairs" on the head.

crest (american word) means haube, huppe..I mean ciuffo..in the french book they speak about black with white crest, a small group of german people are working on

Good luck with your project my friends... the search for new colors, helps to improve our knowledge of genetics transmission!

Best regards

What a beautifull mix of colours, buff and white, and really nice the way the pattern goes with the darker throat and how it fades out in the body, with whiter feet and wings, and finally the tail in an almost equal blend of the two.
I see that the hen has a lighter head, is there a rule of how the colours are supposed to be distributed?
Am I wrong when I think I see a resemblance to the silver patterned silkie, as for the ground pattern of the two colours scheme?
It is going to be really interesting to follow yours and Tundes developments of this new colour!

Good luck and my compliments to you both!

Thanx for your reply Danny. I am very new in this passion of a hobby, therefore it is a great to be able to, thanks to this forum, to see the higher levels of breeding!
Looked into Tundes page, very interesting, but genetics is really complicated, must take years I'm sure, ´til one gets a hold of it.
It's lovely to be part of this forum were experts share their experiences with the newcomers!
