If we consider only the gene "D" this have the following alleles possibilities D^V > D^c > d+
- D^V/D^V (p+/p+ r+/r+ Bd+/Bd+) = (homozygous) Duplex- V shaped
- D^c/D^c (p+/p+ r+/r+ Bd+/Bd+) = (homozygous) Duplex- cup shaped
- D^V/D^c (p+/p+ r+/r+ Bd+/Bd+) = (heterozygous) Duplex- V shaped


When we cross the D^V/D^c (p+/p+ r+/r+ Bd+/Bd+) X D^V/D^c (p+/p+ r+/r+ Bd+/Bd+)
in simple words (heterozygous) Duplex- V shaped X (heterozygous) Duplex- V shaped
When we apply the simple rules of genetics we will become :
- 25% D^V/D^V (p+/p+ r+/r+ Bd+/Bd+) = (homozygous) Duplex- V shaped
