grazie Danny ora mi è tutto più chiaro!.. invece cosa mi dici della taglia delle razze giganti come i malesi? questa è solamente il frutto della selezione umana o ha un qualche tipo di ereditarietà?
Ps. stavo pensando anche a fare malese x phoenix.. l'intento sarebbe quello di selezionare un pollo con le forme e le linee tipiche di razze come Sumatra,Satsumadori,Cubalaya ma con l'imponente stazza tipica del malese (forse potrei anche abbandonare -per ora- l'idea della razza nana per concentrarmi su questi..)a tale scopo pensavo di utilizzare per l'appunto il malese e il phoenix.. ma non escludo l'utilizzo di altre razze

When you breed a (dwarf) cock dw/dw with a (Big) hen DW+/- the result is :
male chicks Dw+/dw,
female chicks dw/-
These female chicks dw/-
are only in theory dwarfs !!!
It's needed to breed for several generations to stabilize the darfisme.

This dwarf-gene is close located to the S-locus and K-locus
