I was speaking of the e-allel being the "wildtype" => e+/e+ and not the "eb" or "ebc" mutants.

You are correct these have next to the "wildtype" e-allel "e+/e+" other additional genes (most probably) in heterozygous form. My guess is "Pg/pg+" but with guessing we not are sure !!
