Moroseta di diverse colorazioni

questa è una delle mie di quest'anno

Ho fatto due foto ora. Le inserisco.

Tunde ma è bellissima la femmina :-)...il gallo non ha una buona cresta vero?...pensa che a me ne sono nati 16 e nessuno ha una cresta come vorrei..tutti con i denti o filiformi o diversi tra loro ecc...pazienza ci lavorerò

Ciao, sì,le femmine sono bellissime :-). Secondo me anche il gallo ma mi hai già detto che la sua cresta presentava qualche difetto, domani faccio altre foto così lo vedi.

Ciao a tutti!finalmente vedo la bella troupe di moroseta dal belgio..innanzitutto grazie a louise e danny per questo bel patrimonio portato in Italia!Tunde mi raccomando fanne tante!:-)Mi piace molto la forma della sparviero, per quanto riguarda la cresta e la pelle delle sparviero non esistono della colorazione nera e gli standard le accettano rosse, questo perchè il gene della pelle e cresta scura è incompatibile con la colorazione sparviero..è bene lavorare per diminuire l'intensità del rosso ma rimarrà cmq chiara

Ciao Rachele :-)) Finaly I could keep my promesse to bring the Silkies. (took about one year, but the travel is not simple 1100 km car drive, 10 hours boat and again 350 km car drive).
I am sure Tünde will do something good with these Moroseta because she is yet experienced and we told her little helpfull things to amigliore the results of the quality of the chicks.
What are not yet posted photo's of are the chciks we brought to breed with in our mutual project "D.&.L.T.A." = 4 persons in 4 nations under one flag in one internatinal project, please have a look on our rearranged webpage: zijdehoenders.googlepages.com/t&dcreating
Finaly we can start for good and hope to realize these 3 "new" Silvervariations in the Silkies.
As always you have a clear eye on the situation Rachele, brava. But Tünde already mentioned it, it is possible to darken the skin, eyecolour and crestcolour of the Sparviero, it must be done with inbreeding of black and/or darkpartridge Silkies. Louise in Holland is working on this item.
By the way, all the adult Silkies and chicks we brought I became from famous Holland breeders I knew and from myself, this to bring good lines of Silkies to Sardignia (Italy) and I am proud I could succeed in this.

Non un favorito di miei perché NON barba. Ma qui potete vedere che è possibile allevare lo Sparviero con i fronti e la pelle scuri.

Tutti i piccoli particolari ma è che cosa si trasformano in in meno punti sulle mostre. È perché è così difficile da allevare completo buon Moroseta.

ciao tunde da tre anni ho anch'io la colorazione sparviero non le ho mai esposte perche' volevo lavorare con la cresta ma i risultati non sono stati ottimali ho inserito un gallo nero con delle femmine sparviero l'unica cosa che ho ottenuto e' stato qualche soggetto femmina un po' piu' scuro di pelle sono contento che le hai anche tu lavoriamoci io ho gia' incubato una 40 di uova vediamo un po' cosa esce fuori l'anno scorso sono riuscito anche ad avere un maschio chiaro appena posso ti posto qualche foto

Sorry I not saw earlier your question Rachele.
Yes, in Belgium and Holland the Cuckoo Silkie is recognized.
The standard accept the red comb, rose skin and light legs, on temporay basis (is not indicated for how long that means).
There is asked the breeders of this coloration to breeds towards the standard about this as in other colorations. The first attempts are being done. But in this case it can not be done by selection between crosses od Cuckoo X Cuckoo ! The dark combe, skin, legs and also eyes must be obtained by crosses form Cuckoo X Black. This should not give (on the first side) to many problems because out of these first crosses where yet becomed Cuckoo's with dark pigment spots in comb, skin, legs and eyes. But every time again must be crossed back on Black Silkies to improve these dark pigment spots to become bigger because the Cuckoo colorations itself prefend this darkening of pigment. But when done consequentely it is possible as can be seen in the photo of the Cockoo hen I posted earlier. But must be said it is easier in Cuckoo hens than in cocks to become dark pigment.

On one of the last exhibitions I was we discussed this with a judge and he putted it in a splendid way "Trying to become Cuckoo Silkies with dark comb, skin, legs and eyes is the same as wanting a negro woman with blond hairs from herselve" !!!!

While we are talking about singularities in Silkies combs intensivities also this in the Red Silkies:

The red under fluff in the Red Silkies go together with the ground-colorbasis eWh/eWh and the gray under fluff go together with the ground-colorbasis eb/eb but not only this but also the fact that the eumelanine not match so very good with the eWh/eWh causing more red combs, lighter legs and eyes, where than the eb/eb is a very good match for the darker combs, legs and eyes.
But also here must be done attention because when keeping breeding pure eWh/eWh the Red color becomes paler and must be crossed back on "eb" to obtain enough black-pigment to keep the Red coloration deep Red enough. Always must be compromised between these two.

These singularties and several others (surely in Silkie, I breed only Silkies) are the subjects I wanted to give a start for discussing ground in the webpage I made about the inheritances in Silkies. www.zijdehoenders.be/ click on "SILKIES"
