I understood that you were talking about the young hens, and not about the mothers! the mothers doesen't have the little dots!
So if a white pullet(generally speacking) have the little black dots, it should be a Dominant White?


But since the theory not always match exactly with the practice the thing that happened in reality should be that your cross was :

- if the hens where E/e+ I/I than there chicks had to be 50% white E/e+ I/i+ (which can have some black and/or red) and 50% pyle e+/e+ I/i+ (relatively good pyle)


in about 20 chicks I have 10 males pyle(2 or 3 good, the other with salmon chest),5/6 females pyle(that the part that should be white is grey) and 4/5 females totally white with 7/8 feathers black!
