Only a detail but what you mentioned as "salmon red" on the chest of the cocks, you must look good in detail comparison cock and hen next to eachother , than you should she it is not the same as on the chest of the hen, this because "salmon red" is only on the chests of hens (e+/e+ = selvatica) that on the chests of the cocks is diluted red-pigment.

What you intended with : "(that the part that should be white is grey)"

i mean that the hens should are white in all the body(not in the chest and neck), but my young hens have a dirty white!like grey!


Egidio, quando ho iniziato questo lavoro pensavo che bastava mettere assieme collo oro con bianca e poi accoppiare i figli venuti meglio! non mi immaginavo tutto questo "casino", come lo chiami tu!
ma penso che anche se me lo fossi immaginato, avrei provato lo stesso! è una colorazione che mi affascina troppo!

ed inoltre tutto questo sta facendo accrescere parecchio le mie conoscenze, fin'ora abbastanza basilari! quindi è già una vittoria!
