We always speak of the Gallus Gallus as the ancestor of our Gallus Domesticus but we can't forget the Gallus Sonneratii (or the gray fowl) because without this fellow we not have had "Argento" (color-crossing avant la lettre ;-)





Ieri a Geo e Geo hanno fatto vedere in un documentario alcune razze avicole: padovane, valdarno, e altre razze. Poi hanno detto che del (gallus gallus quello nella foto) in un paio di paesi ne esiste ancora qualche razza. Sarebbe bellissimo averne una coppia. [SM=g7348]
