We not have seen the last thing of this "not recognized" gene !

Why "not recognized"?
This gene is my nightmare!! I've got a lot of issues for selection of zilver dubbelgezoomd (argento doppia orlatura nera) barnevelder bantam's cockerels.This year the 90% of males have autosomal red.

Ciao Alberto, with not recognized I intended the gene "Ar" is not in the nomenclature of official genes.
Every Silver breeder know this nightmare.
One race have more troubles with it than others, also some selections more than others.
The real problem comes from the hens !! When you try to eliminate (with selection only) you must look from very close your hens.
I could say more about this but it is only my opinion so it is better I not write it ;-)
