Hi Danny,
the Lessini mountains are near Vicenza, in Veneto, Italy. This post it's very ironic, 'cause this "Grisa" is simply a flock of barred Plimouth rock sold as they're an heritage ITALIAN poultry breed.

the word "grisa" signify grey, and was one of name given to the local italian breed with cuckoo colouration. Other common names was cucca, cuccola, bisa, vara, capparola...

it's very sad utilize this name to try to sell a bird that has almost no bond with our territory!
