Ciao Alberto. It's the symbol given for for the mutation in Dominant White which is responsible for the "bianca pezzata nera" what is called in English "paint".
I^p = paint
I^s = smokey
I^d = dun

I always thought that "witbont" was the same as "exchequer", mo/mo. Very intresting!!

Yes, "witbont" and "exchequer" are both hobbynames for one and the same phenotype but that is not the "platenbont" or the "bianca pezzata nera" even the phenotypes that are now breeded look very similar but are not good for the "real" platenbont !!!

Per la Bianca Pezzata Nera che presenta un disegno a macchie con estese aree non pigmentate e macchie normalmente pigmentate (in questo caso nere). Tale alternanza di colori è irregolare ed asimmetrica.
